We are a non‑profit community organisation, registered in the UK and overseas, supporting individuals and families at high risk of mental health difficulties due to social, economic, and personal challenges such as poverty, racial trauma, language barriers, refugee and asylum experiences, unemployment, and insecure housing.
Our work is rooted in compassion, dignity, and lived experience.
We support people facing:
- social isolation
- emotional or traumatic experiences
- financial hardship
- mental health pressures
- language barriers
- cultural or integration challenges
- migration‑related crisis or instability.
Our faith is a central part of who we are, and we see this work as a divine mission.
Our doors are open to everyone and we warmly welcome all those in need to access our services, benefit from our support, and stand with us in our mission.
The beginning:
We began in 2019 as a small wellbeing project proposed to Byker Community Centre. The Centre Manager at the time, Rowena, immediately believed in our vision and offered us full support — space, a team, and guidance to help us get started.
Just before our launch, COVID hit and the Centre was forced to close. Instead of stopping, we made the decision to continue the work directly in the community. We went straight out into the neighbourhoods, delivering essentials door‑to‑door to families and individuals who were struggling. No building, no funding, no formal setup — just us, showing up every day with whatever we could gather.
Those early days in Byker shaped everything we are today — rooted in community, and committed to serving everyone who needs us- including the many local English families in Byker and Walker who continue to face deep hardship.
We want every individual to feel supported, empowered, and able to build a life that feels fulfilling and whole.
